Maryan Mohamed Ibrahim, a 26-year-old woman from the host community in Baidoa, has embarked on a transformative journey by enrolling in the tie-dye course at Ajmal TVET Center. Faced with prolonged unemployment and limitedd opportunities, her decision to join the training marked a turning point in her life. It was at Ajmal that she found the courage to pursue new skills and envision a brighter future.

Initially uncertain about her potential in tie-dye, Maryan gradually gained confidence and proficiency through the guidance of dedicated tutors and instructors. Over the course of six months, she mastered various tie-dying techniques and learned how to mix chemicals for fabric production.

Maryan is determined to complete her training and become self-reliant by launching her own tailoring business. Her goal is to earn a sustainable income and uplift her family from poverty. With her growing expertise and unwavering commitment, she is well-prepared to establish a textile and fabric production shop and operate it independently.
